SAMPFORD Courtenay Flower Club will have a spring outing on Monday April 16.
The group will visit Trewithen House and gardens near Truro. The garden is home to champion trees, rare shrubs, a wildflower meadow and exotic fern collections.
The garden is famed for its magnolia blooms, and has a granite and bronze fountain inspired by the magnificent flowers.
The trip costs £18 including coach, which leaves Sampford Courtenay at 10am and returns by 6pm.
For their March meeting, the group enjoyed a talk from Lin Neilson and Zelda Lambert on 'Spring Time'.
To book please call Celia 01837 82767 or Linden on 01837 55498.
