LAST Thursday, after shopping at Lidls’ store in Tavistock, I foolishly locked my shopping, together with my handbag containing my keys, in the boot of my car.

Consequently I was unable to unlock the car or get into my house to retrieve my spare keys. The staff at Lidls were very kind and suggested I walk to Tavistock Tyre and Exhaust Garage across the road. There I encountered exceptional kindness and consideration.

They contacted RAC, gave me coffee and offered to drive me back to the car park to meet the patrol man. Incidentally the RAC man was very prompt and also extremely kind.

I am so glad to live in Tavistock with such lovely people.
