OKEHAMPTON TAGB Tae Kwon-Do Club, has two new dan grade promotions in the black belt. Brieze Read has earned her third dan while Sebastian Hocking has been awarded his first Dan. Instructor Guy Southard, himself a fifth dan, is impressed with both. He said: 'Brieze has done well to keep up her training in spite of being a student at Birmingham University. She is a regular competition medal winner, last year she competed at international level, and she is always happy to help coach the lower grades. 'Sebastian is only 13, but he is a very diligent student. It has been good for our junior students to see this young man gain his promotion. He is a very positive role model for them and has taken to black belt level with expected enthusiasm. It's good for all of the club to see what they can achieve if they work for it.'
