ENTRIES for Okehampton Running Club’s races have been good with numbers increasing for the last two years.

The last race of the season, the Sourton Tors Race, again saw good support from neighbouring clubs with runners enjoying a perfect summer evening for the event.

There was a close finish with last year’s winner and course record holder, James Best of Tavistock AC, finishing just five seconds ahead of ORC’s Will Lamerton.

ORC times: Will Lamerton 20 minutes 13 seconds, Paul Crease 21.12, Matt Pitson 21.44, Chris Turner 23.19, Mike Baker 25.13,Andrew Collyer 27.26, Kerri Morshti 33.19.
