SOUTH Zeal travelled to Clyst Valley on Saturday with a depleted squad and with several players playing out of position but still managed to stamp their authority on the home side and come out as easy winners.

Although the better side South Zeal struggled to gain an advantage, with the sun causing problems for both defence and attack; however, the visitors took the lead after 25 minutes when Redd Cann broke into the Clyst penalty area and beat their keeper with a great shot from 18 yards.

Up at half time the visitors took over in the second half as Redd Cann completed his hat-trick and Harley Cann scored twice. Kieran Anderson scored his first goal for Zeal and Darren Gilbert, who caused the home side severe problems, scored when he broke clear, rounded the keeper and scored from an acute angle.
