THIS season Bridestowe Cricket Club will welcome back some familiar faces for 2017.

All-rounders Dan Fogerty and Brandon Horn have both signed from Lewdown. Fogerty takes over as first XI captain with Gary Sizmur moving to vice-captain. Fogerty lead the 20/20 side to the Tamar League title last year and will have plenty of senior players around to assist him.

Fogerty opened the bowling for Lewdown in the A Division last year and also scored some handy middle order runs, Bridestowe will be hoping he can continue that form back in C West. Brandon Horn was leading run scorer in the Tamar 20/20 league last year and he was also Lewdown second XI’s second top run scorer.

Bridestowe would welcome any more new players before the start of the year to further boost their first and second XIs. Indoor nets will start in the next few weeks.
