Yelverton (20 pts) beat Plymouth (eight) by 89 runs.

ON a very good batting track, Yelverton piled on the runs in a solid victory against Plymouth 3rds to record their first win of the season.

Yelverton ended up on a very good 257 for 9, with Matt Smith getting 72 and Steve Colmer with a belligerent 55 not out.

Plymouth lost early wickets thanks to excellent bowling from Stubbin Joseph (4) and Steve Colmer (3), leaving Plymouth on 168 all out.
