THE Okehampton girls team played some exciting hockey at the Devon U12 Festival that was held in Okehampton on Sunday.

The host side was always looking for goals and won their matches against Tavistock and Taw Valley with goals from Zara Priday, Molly Bushin and Abi Cleave. They lost narrowly to Tiverton A and East Devon but showed strong defensive skills and determination.

In the afternoon, the Okehampton U12 boys played against Taw Valley, Exe and East Devon and, improving as the tournament went on, they finished with an excellent draw against a strong Isca side.
