THE final fixtures of the Devon Mixed Ability Football League took place on Sunday at the Devon FA headquarters in Newton Abbot.

Hundreds of footballers took part with the Tavistock Specials FC sending 50 people, including coaches and two parents.

The weather was very hot but it did not affect the standard of football.

Tavistock Specials Ladies enjoyed their games as did the under 16s and League two teams who played on the county pitch.

The Premiership two players fought hard all day and played their hearts out to be runners up in their league.

After the trophies were handed out there were cheers and singing with coaches Will Reed and Sean Boulton spraying the players with champagne to end a glorious and fun season.

The Tavistock Specials are holding their presentation night at the Red and Black Club, Tavistock, on Friday, June 8.
