DESPITE travelling with better player numbers, Okehampton were unable to take their first points of the season and slipped to a 2-0 defeat at Upottery.

The performance was a good deal better from Argyle than the previous weeks and there is now hope that the extra players, with a week or two to integrate, will allow the team to get back to winning ways.

Devon and Exeter seven

ARGYLE reserves had a comfortable victory over Thorverton, who had beaten them twice last season.

A Reece Foster hat-trick, two from Dec Grimshaw, and goals from George Walsh and Rich Wonnacott, meant they continued their good start to the season.
