WHITCHURCH Wayfarers Cricket Club was the venue for the OCRA Multi-skills Days for Reception Year and Year 1 pupils from Tavistock area primary schools.

Two hundred and fifty children from Horrabridge, St Andrew’s, Meavy, Lady Modiford’s, St Rumon’s, Mary Tavy and Brentor, Bere Alston, Gulworthy, Lamerton, Milton Abbot and Whitchurch had great fun taking part in nine stations of different activities, including rugby, badminton, fencing, dance, athletics, football and cricket.

The following week it was the turn of Year 4 pupils, who also had the fun of an inflatable assault course on top of the other activities.

OCRA spokesperson Mhairi McCall said: ‘The weather was fantastic on both days, which helped to ensure the enjoyment of all who attended. Thanks go to Whitchurch Wayfarers for hosting, Mount Kelly year 12 B Tech students and all the coaches and volunteers who ran the stations over the three days.’
