EXETER CITY RAIDERS 0

OKEHAMPTON SECONDS 18

DESPITE the weather conditions the game went ahead on Saturday and Okehampton made the most of it.

Five minutes in and Josh Tickner got off the mark with an early goal, followed closely by a goal by his brother Harry and two more for himself and Oke were soon 4-0 up.

A penalty enabled Okehampton’s captain Scott Hooper to tuck away the fifth followed by a deflected effort by centre Jamie Mallett who found the back of the net to give Argyle a 6-0 lead at half time. Harry Tickner gave way at half time to Liam Benstead who soon found himself on the scoresheet. Connor Mills made way for Richard Wonnacott who added two sublime finishes. Steve Madge, a header from Tommy Williams, two well taken finishes from Dave Medland and two more goals from Jamie Mallett, an unlucky own goal and a further two from Josh Tickner (who scored five) gave Okehampton the 18-0 victory they deserved.

Full credit to Exeter City Raiders though who kept battling to the end and despite the score never gave up which many teams would of have done.

This result now leaves Okehampton Argyle seconds 11 points clear at the top of the league.
