Chagford Reserve 3
Tedburn St Mary Reserves 1
WITH players swept up by their first team, the Reserves put on a determined show to earn their third win on the trot.
Tedburn played well and probably had as much of the play without troubling the home ’keeper too much.
Lawrence Taylor, a late call-up, scored early in each to open his account for the season. Sandwiched between was a sweet strike from Jake Snell who also notched his first for the club.
Daniel Chadwick netted mid-way through the second half for the visitors to make the game interesting, for the last 20 minutes. Chagford dug in and still created chances that should have been taken with more aplomb. Ashley Jackson, another returnee, deservedly earned the man of the match award.
