OKEHAMPTON started their home campaign with a comprehensive victory, Having been presented with their new kit, sponsored by the town council, by the mayor Councillor Mike Davies, Argyle started slowly and it was not until Ross Voaden curled in a superb freekick to open the scoring they settled.

They went on to dominate the opening period and it was Ross Voaden who increased the lead midway after a well worked move saw him ghosting in to the box before smashing the ball home with his left foot. They went further in front through Tom Stanbury's cool finish to make it 3-0.

In the second half Argyle again started sluggishly and even the advent of a Jamie Mallett goal did not change the mood. Sidmouth completed the scoring a minute with a penalty.

The Argyle defensive line of Conor Stevens, Lewis Taylor, Ryan Gross and Liam Alford were impeccable throughout and the player of the match was Jamie Mallett in midfield.
