Chagford thirds v
Bovey Tracey fourths
THIS season Chagford Cricket Club have started a third team in an effort to encourage and improve young players under the captaincy of Chris Mount.
The home games are played at Spreyton, as of course the Chagford pitch is taken up every Saturday with either first or second team games.
On Saturday Bovey Tracey batting first lost wickets at regular intervals, with only opening bat Tony Brown making double figures with 22.
Wickets fell at regular intervals and there were four ducks as Bovey Tracey were all out in the 27th over for 62 which included 16 extras.
Josh Farr for Chagford took 4-9 runs in his five overs. with the other wickets being by five different bowlers.
The Chagford innings lasted just 10.1 overs as Chris Mount (47 not out) and Liam O'Connell (13 not out) ensured they reached their target and finished at 67 for no wicket.
This ensured a 10 wicket victory and 20 points which enables Chagford remain top of the table with Yelverton just behind.
