THE game started off well with heads up from Okehampton A due to their win last week.

With the sun shining, Oke pushed on with great linking up between Jack Watson and Jake Lloyd creating their first opportunity for Jack to slot the first ball into the back of the net.

With more opportunities for the Forwards, they were unfortunate not to convert these into more goals with an on form Plymouth keeper.

The second half started off positively for Okehampton from a motivated team talk by skip, Brett Lawson. Oke had a strong linking from all players, which paid off when Jake Lloyd scored his first goal with a clean set up from Lawson. Lloyd then turned provider almost instantly after the re-start, providing Watson with a through ball which was neatly placed into the bottom right corner.

With a bit more threat from Plymouth, Ross Davidson, John Jarvis, Tim Morgan and Johannis Clifford-Flower in defence maintained composure keeping the ball from being scored. Pushing the ball back up by a strong clearance from Tim Morgan, finding Stuart Jarvis on the wing gave Jake his second chance to score, which he calmly reversed slamming into the backboard.

Oke were caught out by Plymouth Uni applying pressure, winning them a short corner. Not being a direct hit at goal, the Oke side were unfortunate to concede it. Okehampton finished off the game by more great team play, seeking Jake Lloyd in prime position to score his hat-trick. Man of the match was Oke's Toby Lloyd.
