HAVING had good runs at the Bideford 10k last week, two Okehampton Running Club members ran another 10k on Sunday, this time in the stunning setting of Burrator Reservoir.

This is another surprisingly flat course around the edge of the reservoir, surrounded by woodland and with Dartmoor Tors rising behind. Nicola Smith and Caroline Wilson had both set new personal bests at Bideford, which they could not quite match this week, but they still ran well to finish in 51.54 and 51.56, coming 9th and 11th out of 99 in their age category.
