IT has been a fine season at North Tawton Bowling Club.
Perhaps the crowning glory was the club's Margaret Arscott being a member of the Devon ladies side who won the All England Counties final — a result not achieved by Devon ladies for 33 years.
Then Margaret, along with Muriel Scott from Crediton BC. reached the quarter finals in the national over 55 pairs - an excellent achievement.
North Tawton BC's Lloyd Raymonds, Dave Hicks and John Kinsey have reached the quarter finals of the Devon men's triples while Lloyd Raymonds and John Kinsey the Devon men's doubles quarter finals.
The club also thank the same three players, along with Pat Ward, for organising a fundraising day which raised £858.
In the men's over 60s competitions the club's teams are having mixed fortunes on the rinks. The C team look likely to get promotion while the two teams in the North Devon triples hold their own in a very competitive league.
The A team are currently top in the inter county shield.
The players at all levels at the club have had their fair share of competitive games and there have been number of well supported friendlies.
