ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club in superb conditions a three ball two to count Stableford was held.

The winners of division one with 84 points were Malcolm Hill, Mark Wonnacott and Kevin Cornwall and in second place were Stuart Tolley, Barry Down and Nick Godfrey with 76pts closely followed into third by Paul Douglas, Rod Jones and Cameron McMorrin with 75pts.

Division two was won by the team comprising of John Flavin, Paul Fewings and Adrian Raymond with 79pts on the back nine from, in second, Rod Milsom-Smith, Colin Beardwell and Mike Charlesworth. In third with 73pts were Brian Willcocks, Alan Lawson and Keith Harvey.

Once again the ladies of Okehampton have proved to be insurmountable; two teams travelled to Thurlestone Golf Club to take part in the County Bowmaker Competition a three ball two to count Stableford.

The winners were Elaine Marwood, Maggie Caws and Francis Harbron with 77pts with Marcia Jones, Marcia Collett and Sue Stanbury in second with 75pts. In third with 74pts were Judy Phripp, Bethany Baker and Amanda Moyes from Tiverton. It was another great achievement for Okehampton Golf Club.
