Okehampton TAGB (Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britain) Club has started the year on a high note.

Hosted at the Woolwell Centre, 43 students gathered for the first of the year's opportunities to grade up to the next belt. Results are now out — there was a 100% pass rate and 12 of the students achieved the highest A-pass standard.

Olivia Rolls won the grading award for best student.

Instructor Guy Southard said: 'This grading was so close after the Christmas break, the students that took it all had to work extra hard to get ready and I'm pleased to say that it paid off.

'I took over as instructor at Okehampton Club in January this year, so we hit the ground running with our training. The students that weren't grading this time were happy to support the ones that were, it is a lovely encouraging club. They all deserve a big thank you.'
