THREE members of Tavistock Athletic Club travelled to Bridgwater last Sunday, to compete in the 10k and half marathon races.

Andy Houghton ran an excellent race over the 10k distance, knocking three minutes off his best time and gaining an 82% age related score for his time. He finished in 44 minutes and 19 seconds, winning his male vintage category.

Sheila Houghton raced the same distance, also winning her vintage group in a more leisurely 58 minutes and 40 seconds, giving her a 71% age related score.

Kate Rogers ran the half marathon in an impressive 2:01:08.
