Okehampton ladies secs 4
Ottery ladies thirds 0
OKEHAMPTON ladies' second team had a good game and, despite the weather, had a comfortable win against the Ottery St Mary's third team.
Although the attackers were strong, Okehampton defenders Rochelle Hillier, Louise Weller and Sandy Douglas worked well together and on the rare occasion when the ball passed them, goalkeeper Alice Wiseman cleared any danger easily.
The first Oke goal from Viv Weatherington spurred on Rachel Adams to score in the second half before Viv scored her second of the match, making it 3-0 to the ladies.
Okehampton were even stronger towards the end of the match with Sophia Marshall making some effective runs and player of the match Holly Davidson getting the ball off the opposition and clearing it to the attackers.
In the last 10 minutes of the game Anna Speak scored the final goal after intelligent positioning on the post making the final score 4-0.
