AN elderly gentleman from the Hatherleigh area has had three concrete statues stolen from his garden.

This crime occurred between Thursday, June 1 at 10pm and Friday, June 2 at 7.30am. The statues were of a lion laid down and two lions sat upright.

These were of sentimental value to the owner. If anyone has been offered to purchase one of these statues, has any information or saw persons carrying the statues during the hours stated above please ring 101 quoting CR/043125/17.
