A YOUNGSTER has made amends for spraying graffiti around Okehampton by joining the local police to clean it off.

PC Nathan Walker of Okehampton Police said the youngster had done the work under his supervision as part of a Community Resolution process last week.

‘The young person responsible was keen to make reparations and the resolution provided a valuable opportunity for me to engage and talk about the value of community,’ he said.

The police are inviting the public to help crack down on graffiti as part of the Name That Tag campaign anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Information supplied may attract a cash reward.
