POLICE have been getting increased reports of anti-social behaviour caused by youths frequenting play parks in residential areas of Okehampton in the early hours of the morning and also areas around supermarkets in the town centre.

Active patrols will be stepped up by local officers, but the police also rely on residents and members of the public to let them know when and where this is happening.

They would like to encourage people to report any issues at the time it is happening, by calling 101 or 999 if prompt response is required.

Descriptions of offending persons are useful when calling, in particular items of clothing, hair colour, age and build and if known, names of individuals. You can also report any information you have via the Devon and Cornwall Police website.
