THIS a very minor incident but I would just like to tell someone as I don’t live in your area.

Last Wednesday, April 6, around 10.30pm, my dog had temporarily disa-ppeared and I assumed he would come back, when I saw some lights flashing on the nearby road coming out from Chillaton to Tavistock.

I went and looked to find three cars had stopped and someone was trying to catch the dog who was in the road and completely lost.

I was so grateful to these kind people for bothering to stop and rescue him and wish I could have thanked them properly.

I know this is very insignificant, but it is heart-warming to know that there are people like this as it’s quite likely he would have been run over if they had not been there.

I just thought you might possibly have a small space to convey my gratitude to whoever they may be.
