OKEHAMPTON Acoustic Club is to host its latest meeting this weekend before a hiatus for the summer.
Among those playing at the club on Saturday, July 13 are Saturday Sun, Moor Reason, Adam Piggott and Jayne Freeman. Saturday Sun make their return to the club following a run of great success. This summer they are playing the Lamar Tree Festival and supporting Sigur Rós at the Eden Project.
Okehampton-based band Moor Reason also make their return with their strong original songs. Adam Piggott and Jayne Freeman combine powerful acoustic guitar and ukelele with inspired melodies.
The club's hosts and founders Troubadour's Garden will also perform a set.
The meeting takes place in the Ockment Centre on Saturday, July 13. Doors open at 7.30pm. Entry costs £2.50 — bring their own refreshments. The club will re-start in the autumn.
