PREPARE to set sail and enjoy a swashbuckling adventure later this month, as the Actors of North Tawton get ready for their latest pantomime.
The amateur dramatic group has been busy rehearsing for their production of 'Treasure Island' since November, and had their latest rehearsal on Sunday.
The ANTS are now putting the final touches on the set, costumes and performance.
Mike Thwaites, a founding member of ANTS, said: 'Things are coming along nicely for the show.
'Our full rehearsal at the weekend went well, with us having a laugh and enjoying the process so far.
'I think we could be onto a good little show here.
'It has been a lot of fun for us so far and we hope everyone who comes along enjoys it just as much.'
The show, directed by Twiggy Lane, promises special effects, songs and all the traditional fun of a winter panto.
As part of the production the cast will be performing a broom dance, and have had lessons from Dartmoor broom dance expert Sarah Bazeley.
The show starts at 7.30pm each night from Tuesday, February 14 to Saturday, February 18 at North Tawton Town Hall.
Tickets are available from North Tawton Post Office and cost £7 for adults and £4.50 for under 14s.
