GET Changed Theatre Company will hold an annual meeting with a twist this month.

The hour-long 'Alternative AGM' will include a summary of the last year's activities and a showcase of talent from the Get Changed team in their own inimitable style, followed by a free cream tea.

The company provides services for adults with learning disabilities through the medium of performing arts.

The event is intended to support their core work of producing events and productions for public audiences that challenge stereotypes, create awareness of disability, and affect a positive change in attitude towards people with learning disabilities.

The event is open to everyone and will be attended by Okehampton's mayor Cllr The Rev Mike Davies, who will be presenting a cheque to help fund the event.

The Alternative AGM takes place in Okehampton Conservative Club on Wednesday, October 17 from 1.30pm.
