THE serious illness of a four-year-old boy from Exbourne has prompted his aunt and two young cousins to raise money for cancer charities in the Race for Life.
Archie Cleveland was recently diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and is in Bristol Royal Children's Hospital undergoing chemotherapy before having a bone marrow transplant.
Sarah Venners and her two children Audrey and Harry are running the Cancer Research UK Race for Life in Oxford on July 14. The event is the UK's biggest women-only charity fundraising event, bringing people together to run, walk or even dance five or ten kilometres to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The trio will run under the name of Archie's Army, and have already raised more than £700.
