THE Lloyds TSB branch of Okehampton has announced its plans for the Olympic torch relay through the town.

From 7.20am on Monday May 21, the bank will have entertainment, food and drinks, face painting, stickers, flags and much more going on in the town and outside the bank.

The bank will have Lloyds TSB 'ambassadors' performing juggling tricks, stilt walking, and acrobatics on Fore Street, and the celebrations aim to bring a festival atmosphere to the event.

Nena Yendell, customer service manager for Lloyds TSB said: 'The relay provides a powerful opportunity for people to experience first-hand the excitement and significance of the Olympic flame on its journey to London, and I hope that together we will be able help create an unique and unforgettable experience.

'I am really excited about the torch visiting the town as I have worked in Okehampton LloydsTSB for over ten years and see this as a massive event which it would be great for the town to really get behind. I think the atmosphere will be amazing and it really is a once in a lifetime opportunity.'
