A MAN who died in a collision between two motorcycles near Launceston has been identified as Mark Gilbert, from Beaworthy.

Mark, 49, has been named by police as the motorcyclist who died in the collision on Thursday, April 6 2017.

Mark leaves his parents, Claude and Rachel, sister Niki, his wife Kirsty and children Jessica and Ashley.

A police spokesperson said: ‘The Gilbert family have released a photograph of Mark and have requested that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time.’

The second motorcyclist, an 18-year-old from the Tavistock area, was seriously injured in the collision.
