OKEHAMPTON's two cadet forces will be presented with certificates recognising their affiliation with the Royal British Legion on Thursday, November 27.

The town's army cadet and air cadet organisations are being presented with certificates to recognise their official ties with the Okehampton branch of the Royal British Legion. As well as certificates for the cadet forces, awards are being presented to some of the branch's poppy appeal collectors.

It is hoped the evening will celebrate the hard work of the area's poppy collectors and give the town's cadets and their parents a chance to interact with members of the Royal British Legion.
