THE chairman of the group which operates Hatherleigh Care Village, PSP Healthcare, has thanked local people for their support after the murder of his daughter-in-law.

Anni Dewani was killed four days into her honeymoon in South Africa.

Prakash Dewani said: 'The Dewani family and staff of Hatherleigh Care Village would like to express their sincere gratitude to all local people of Hatherleigh who have provided immense support during this tragic ordeal.

'Whilst Hatherleigh Care Village cares for others 24/7, it is immensely comforting to see the local people of Hatherleigh and surrounding areas caring for us in our time of need.
