STONE Lane Gardens in Chagford is hosting a volunteer information day on Friday, April 7.

Visitors will get a guided tour around the gardens and the sculpture exhibition.

Those attending the information day from 10am will also get an opportunity to chat with the garden’s manager and volunteer team.

There will also be coffee, tea and cake available on the information day.

Garden manager Paul Bartlett said: ’Stone Lane Gardens is an environmental and educational charity set in a five-acre woodland and water garden just outside Chagford.

’Our volunteers really enjoy the sociable atmosphere at the garden, working as a team in this special place.’
