THERE's an opportunity to enjoy a night of rousing music and good food at an event in Hatherleigh this weekend.

On Saturday, Hatherleigh Silver Band will be holding its popular cider and pasty evening in the town's square.

As well as the cider and pasties, there will be soft drinks, a raffle and of course, music from the band.
