THE development of the old Meeth Clay Works into a vast wildlife haven is the subject of a talk at Meeth Village Hall this weekend.

The Devon Wildlife Trust will be present at the hall on Friday, May 10 to discuss the development of the 150 hectare site purchased in January.

The trust is set to implement a programme of improvements for wildlife and local access following financial support from Natural England.

The talk starts at 7pm, to be followed by a hot supper with a choice of dishes and puddings, tea or coffee for £4.50 for adults, £2 for children aged 12 and under.

The supper is in aid of the church, and there will be a raffle raising money for the Devon Wildlife Trust.

Everyone is welcome but to help catering and seating, please call Ingrid Dodd on 01837 810241 or Beryl Toop on 01837 810553 if you would like to attend.
