THE time is right for anyone who enjoys singing and who would like to share the fun of it with others during the Christmas period — a choir is being assembled again this year to participate in the Christmas carol service at St Andrew's Church, South Tawton.

It takes place on Sunday, December 23 at 6pm and the first of five practice sessions is being held in the adjacent Church House on Sunday, November 18 from 4pm until 5pm.

No singing experience is needed and anyone interested but unable to attend the first session might note that four more will be held, on succeeding Sundays up to and including December 16, all starting at 4pm. For more information, call Deborah Clark on 01837 849071.
