FIRE crews were called to put out a blaze in a mini digger on Monday.

Two crews from Okehampton found the mini excavator well alight at Lower Corscombe just after 4pm.

They put out the fire using a hose reel jet and two firefighters, using breathing apparatus. The digger was left severely damaged by the blaze.?The cause was accidental.
