WHILE enjoying our day out at the May Fair in Okehampton, my five-year-old son had fun on the large unflatable slide.   When he got off, he unfortunately put another child's shoes on, two sizes too big.   Another child has his shoes who must have had a very uncomfortable walk home. They are Clarks black trainers size nine and a half.   We made an announcement and appealed to see if the other child was still in the park, we then watched the Maypole dance looking for a child wearing the same shoes — but with no luck.   Myles would be very grateful to have his shoes back as he only just got them a couple of weeks ago — and we would like to return the shoes we have to the right owner!
