THE Red Spider Company, the amateur dramatic group based in Lewdown and Bratton Clovelly, recently presented a cheque for £300 to St Luke's Hospice.

The donation was in memory of former member Jack Hayer, and followed the group's recent 'double bill' programme, which included a fish and chip supper.

Nina Wearne, of St Luke's, was pleased to receive the cheque on behalf of the charity.
