WEARING your best Easter bonnet could win you a prize at the Okehampton Rotary Club's annual stroke awareness coffee morning this Saturday.

The two best bonnets will win their owners a prize. The usual stalls of bric-a-brac, books and cakes will be available, as well as a stall for Children's Hospice South West.

The event will be promoting stroke awareness, offering people the opportunity to get their blood pressure checked.

The best way to prevent a stroke is to catch the symptoms early, with routine tests like checking your blood pressure. The pressure tests at the coffee morning are free.

Doors to the Charter Hall open at 9.30am and the coffee morning runs until noon. All are welcome.
