LIFTON Primary School has a new library following renovation work.

The new library has the aim of creating an inspiring space which instils a lifelong passion for reading and research.

The new space includes a reading area, new resources and displays.

Headteacher Melanie Cripps, praised staff and children for their work to get the library ready.

She said ‘Everyone is delighted with the result. The library got the wow reaction from the children that it deserves. It will continue to develop and through this, engage learners in the joy of reading.’
