A GARDEN shed caught fire and spread to a car in a nearby car park in Okehampton on Monday afternoon.

A crew from Okehampton attended the incident at the rear of East Street and on arrival requested the help of a second crew. The fire involved a garden shed which had spread to a car parked in the car park of the health centre.

The crews used two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a thermal imaging camera to deal with the fire. The cause was believed to be accidental.
