A FOUR ball team, two to count Stableford, was held at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday.
The winning team celebrating their victory with an impressive 91 points were Chris Walsh, Dave Chammings, Nick Godfrey and Colin Beardwell.
In second came Rob Camies, Barry Down, Dave Bickle and Phil Hawking with 81 points.
Third with 80 points came Neil Penfold, Kevin Harding, John Flavin and Roger Slack on the back nine, from in fourth Graham Moysey, Malcolm Hooper, Derek Owen and Gareth Holt also with 80 points.
Last Wednesday 12 ladies competed in the first major competition of 2011, for the Rees Baker Cup Greensomes competition.
The winners with 34 points were Lorna Evans and Anne Brokenbrow. Runners-up on countback with 28 points were Mary Keir and Sylvie Gowers.
