OKEHAMPTON Community Recreation Association (OCRA) is hosting a free art and photography exhibition.

The show will be held in the Pavilion in the Park and offers visitors the opportunity to scan their eyes across a variety of art.

The exhibition is running now until December 23, before temporarily closing for Christmas and New Year, then returning on January 4.

Judith Magowan, a nurse who loves to paint and draw, will be exhibiting her work.

She is inspired by walking on Dartmoor and its dramatic light and colours. The body of work includes landscapes, still life and portraits.

Stuart Lord, OCRA manager, said: ‘It is great to have Judith’s lovely work in the Pavilion in the Park’s sixth art show. We also have some dramatic new images from local photographer Mikhal Brandstatter.

‘Everybody is welcome to come and see this free art exhibition. OCRA is a charity developing and supporting local art and is keen to hear from painters, photographers, sculptors, potters and film makers who would like to show their work or deliver workshops over the next year.’
