THE Friends of Okehampton Community Hospital last week presented staff with two new wheelchairs.
The wheelchairs were the result of a generous donation to the Friends.
Helena Williamson, treasurer, told the Times: 'Friends of Okehampton Community Hospital (FOOCH) exists to support the work of the hospital in the relief of patients.
'One of its main aims is to contribute to the health, welfare and comfort of patients by the provision of facilities and equipment for their treatment.'
