CHAGSTOCK Festival organisers have announced their full Saturday evening line-up for this year's event.

Fun Lovin' Criminals will headline the main stage, supported by Dartmoor's own Seth Lakeman. Alabama 3 will headline the acoustic stage.

Simon Ford, one of the festival organisers, said: 'We are delighted to announce our Saturday line-up for 2012.

'We can't wait to see Fun Lovin' Criminals and Alabama 3 headlining, as they are both bands with a brilliant catalogue of songs as well as being great live performers.

'The addition of local hero Seth Lakeman to the bill reinforces Chagstock's commitment to supporting the very best that the West Country has to offer.'

Set in 45 acres of farmland on the northern edge of Dartmoor, the festival is renowned for its diverse musical line-up and family-friendly atmosphere.

Acts already confirmed for the event include a Friday night headline performance from KT Tunstall, Juan Zelada, Cornwall-based singer and songwriter Ruarri Joseph, alt-folk troubadours the Travelling Band, and winners of the South West Music Awards Best Album 2011 Mad Dog Mcrea.

Chagstock returns to its traditional two-day format in 2012 — July 20 and 21 — and organisers are making a number of exciting changes in the festival's sixth year.

These include a major new zone called 'The Village Green', a revamped and enlarged children's area, the announcement that all children under 12 can attend for free, and a renewed emphasis on ensuring that wherever possible, the artists, food, traders and brewery all have strong links to the South West.

Tickets cost £65 for adults, £40 for under 18s, and free for under 12s. A family ticket for two adults and two under 18s costs £170.

All weekend tickets include two nights of camping, access to all music and on-site events, and car parking. Day tickets are also available, and booking fees apply.
