THIS weekend (October 16 and 17) the garden of Andrew's Corner, Skaigh Lane, Belstone will be open for charity.

The Saturday opening will be for the Children's Hospice South West and Sunday for the National Gardens Scheme charities.

On both days the garden will be open from 2.30pm to 5.30pm with hot drinks, cakes and cream teas available. Entrance is £3 for adults and children are free.

There will be plenty of autumn colour, with the maples coming into their spectacular best and autumn gentians and cyclamen flowering.
