CENTRAL Devon MP Mel Stride is asking for the views of his constituents on a number of important national issues and the performance of the Coalition Government.

Mr Stride has organised a survey to be hand-delivered by volunteers to more than 30,000 constituents. It can also be completed online.

Questions range from views on capping benefits, and the proposed badger cull to a European Union referendum and setting up free schools. There is also a chance to rate the Government's and Mr Stride's personal performance two years in to the current term.

He is also looking for comments on important local topics such as broadband speeds and reorganising the NHS.

Mr Stride said: 'I am always keen to learn more about constituents' concerns and would be very grateful if they could take just a few moments to complete the survey. I read all responses and comments.

'If any constituent feels that I can help with any issue or concern, no matter how apparently small it may appear, I urge them to get in touch.'
